Duties:
Sharpen & profile hockey skates using manual, automatic and computerized machines for retail & professional customers.
Educate customers on benefits of skate blade profiling
Perform technical tasks and repairs as assigned
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and systems
Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Collaborate with team members to ensure effective operations
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous skate sharpening experience is preferred
Knowledge & experience in ice hockey is preferred
Robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in using various tools and equipment
Availability:
Evenings & weekends
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
