SLH Picker Service and Pile Driving is seeking experienced 30 ton and 45 ton operators. The position is a permanent full time position. Based in Wabasca, Alberta, SLH’s operates year-round with minimal interruption providing oilfield trucking services to producers operating in the area.

Candidates should be physically fit, able to meet the physical demands of the job and possess a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. As this is a remote work location, SLH maintains and manages its own camp. Camp accommodation and meals are provided when on shift. Daily meals are breakfast, bagged lunch and supper.

SLH pays Wabasca based employees a daily LOA / Job Bonus. Safety, service quality as well as equipment care and consideration are the primary focal points for approval and payment.

Schedule: 14 days on, 7 days off, shift start is Wednesday

Duties include the following;
Conduct proper pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Conduct daily/weekly/monthly crane inspection prior to all work
Operate/Maintain National 30 Ton Picker
Communicate with dispatch for daily jobs
Ability to pin/unpin from trailers, and load equipment as needed




Inspect all rigging as required to ensure proper working condition, irregularities and out of service items will be reported to the company's crane and rigging supervisor
Loading, unloading lifting and lowering of equipment as per boom truck operator training
Must comply with all client and legislative rules as required
Maintain a proper E-log to comply with Federal Regulations
Complete and submit daily electronic field tickets, hazard assessments and near miss reports
Must be able to pass D&A; pre-employment screening

Qualifications
Boom/Crane truck apprenticeship/journeyman
Valid Class 1 License and acceptable Driver’s Abstract
Commitment to protected work practices
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
