Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Millwright for a Bakery manufacturing plant located in Vaughan. The ideal candidate will possess experience with Packaging equipment, robotics, conveyer systems and have mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills to maintain and repair industrial equipment. The position requires a proactive approach to maintenance and a commitment to ensuring optimal plant operations.

Duties
Provide mechanical support to the plant operations with the ability to read blueprints, schematic drawings and manuals to troubleshoot equipment issues Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Bakery equipment such as Mixers, Baking Ovens, Flow Rappers and Metal detectors
Operate and interpret programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for work orders and documentation.
Conduct electrical work with low voltage systems, including wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical components.
Handle mechanical repairs involving welding, HVAC systems, boilers, and other plant machinery.




Troubleshoot and adjust various Drives, gear boxes, motors and PLC controls
Use analysis skills to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions.
Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and maintenance manuals for accurate repairs.
Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and plant staff to ensure safety standards are maintained.
Maintain program (Fiix) for inventory and control of spare parts

Requirements
Red Seal 433A Millwright preferred
Minimum 3 years proven experience in manufacturing environments preferably in the food or pharmaceutical industry
Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical
Knowledge of MIG and TIG welding preferred
Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals accurately.
Proficiency in Word and Outlook with ability to learn new technology
Excellent communication skills in English for explicit documentation and teamwork.
Ability to work overtime when required
Knowledge of plant safety guidlelines with full GMP compliance

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
