About the Role
We’re looking for a Project Manager who thrives on bringing clarity to complexity and leading exceptional delivery.

At Tiller, Project Managers are more than coordinators. They are delivery leaders responsible for planning, executing, and delivering high-quality work that helps our clients move their business forward. You’ll own a portfolio of client work representing approximately $1.5M to $2M in annual revenue, partnering closely with an Account Manager and a cross‑functional team to ensure projects stay aligned to goals, budgets, timelines, and expectations.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in rapid‑moving environments, enjoys solving problems, and can confidently navigate ambiguity. You anticipate challenges, create alignment across teams, and keep work moving forward.

We’re a digital marketing agency that primarily serves B2B software and technology companies. Our pace, systems, and ways of working often feel more like a modern tech company than a traditional agency.

What You Get to Do
Delivery Leadership & Execution

Own delivery across a portfolio of clients representing approximately $1.5M to $2M in annual revenue

Lead the planning and delivery of brand, website, digital marketing, and growth projects

Create and manage project plans that align scope, budget, timelines, resources, and objectives

Deliver projects on time, on budget, and aligned to agreed outcomes

Manage scope, priorities, risks, dependencies, and quality throughout the project lifecycle

Create clarity and momentum when priorities or circumstances change

Planning, Budgets & Resourcing

Build realistic project schedules, workback plans, and delivery approaches

Forecast, track, and manage project budgets and identify when scope changes or Change Orders are needed

Lead resource planning across multiple projects, balancing team capacity, priorities, and deadlines

Anticipate resourcing challenges early to reduce last‑minute fire drills

Monitor project health and communicate status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders

Own delivery‑focused client communication related to timelines, deliverables, feedback, approvals, and next steps

Partner closely with Account Managers to align delivery with client goals

Lead cross‑functional teams through planning sessions, kickoffs, status meetings, and project execution

Give teams the clarity, context,

and accountability needed to deliver their best work

Help clients navigate project constraints and delivery trade‑offs with confidence

Process Improvement

Identify opportunities to strengthen delivery workflows and project management practices

Use AI, automation, and modern tools to improve planning, communication, reporting, and operational efficiency

Share practical improvements that strengthen delivery across the team

You May Be a Fit for This Role If You Have

7+ years of project management experience in an agency, digital services, marketing, software, SaaS, or other fast‑paced client services environment

Experience leading website, brand, digital marketing, software‑related, or other cross‑functional projects from initiation through delivery

A track record of managing multiple concurrent projects while balancing scope, budget, timelines, quality, and stakeholder expectations

Strong judgment and the ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities

Excellent planning, organization, communication, facilitation, and problem‑solving skills

Experience leading cross‑functional teams and building trust with clients and colleagues

A proactive approach to risk management, resource planning, and operational execution

Experience working with B2B software, technology, or SaaS companies is a strong asset

Proficiency with Motion, Slack, and Google Workspace. Experience with ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com is a bonus.

Comfort using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, NotebookLM). You know how to prompt effectively, assess output quality, and use AI as a tool, not a crutch. Bonus: you’ve experimented with building lightweight AI workflows or agents

PMP, CSM, or similar certification is an asset, but not required

Success in This Role Looks Like

Projects are consistently delivered on time and on budget

Clients have confidence in the delivery process

Risks, dependencies, and scope changes are identified early and managed proactively

Teams have clarity on priorities, responsibilities, and next steps

Resource conflicts are anticipated rather than reacted to

You contribute practical improvements that strengthen how Tiller delivers work

Our Culture
Tiller is built different. We win together, grow together, and hold ourselves to a high standard in how we work, communicate, and show up for each other and our clients.

We are a community of about 30 marketers and creative minds based in Calgary, AB. We care deeply about craft, character, ownership, and client outcomes. We seek feedback, close our gaps, stretch beyond comfort, and believe there are no ceilings here — only the next level.

We keep our word, follow through, and tell on ourselves when something needs to be made right. We believe trust is built in the small things, and high trust helps us move further, faster.

We are competitive together, not with each other. We practice our craft, sweat the details, and advocate fiercely for our clients because their success is our scoreboard. We don’t just consume culture; we create it. Every teammate plays a role in representing the Tiller standard.

This is a team for people who want to do great work, take ownership of outcomes, and keep getting better.

We have a beautiful SW Calgary office location that offers free parking, a gym, and comfortable, tech‑savvy meeting rooms and workstations.

We work onsite to be intentional about optimizing collaboration and creativity on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. Remote work is optional on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Workstations include a MacBook and an ergonomic sit‑stand desk.

Our 2 kitchen cafes are stocked with really, really good coffee.

Compensation
Base salary will be commensurate with skills and experience, with an expected range aligned to a senior project management role in the Alberta market.

We review compensation annually against external data to stay competitive with similar agency, technology, and professional services roles in Alberta’s market.

We offer a performance‑based bonus structure that rewards impact and excellence.

Health and Dental (premiums shared 50/50)

Long‑term disability (Employee paid)

Life and Critical Illness Insurance

Emergency Travel Medical

Employee and Family Assistance Program

Group RRSP and TFSA investment savings plan with free access to a Certified Financial Advisor

No agency inquiries, please. We encourage you to use AI tools to support your application, but make sure your personality, thinking, and voice come through clearly. We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only candidates being considered for interviews will be contacted.
