The British Columbia Geomatics team is looking for an enthusiastic technologist ready to immerse in diverse surveying tasks and data collection initiatives. This full-time position is perfect for those with a technical background in Geomatics eager to travel and gain firsthand experience in the field. You will work on topographic and bathymetric surveys while also preparing critical survey documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Champion safety measures in all field activities
• Execute topographic, bathymetric, and other surveys
• Develop survey drawings and plans using Civil3D




• Conduct QA/QC on collected data and drafted work
• Willingness to travel and work in diverse terrains

Requirements:
• Technical degree in Geomatics or equivalent
• 1-3 years of related surveying experience
• Familiarity with BC Ministry transportation standards an asset
• Working knowledge of survey technologies and methods
• Valid BC Driver’s License with good standing
