DGPR is hiring an Associate or Senior Associate to join our team. We’re looking for someone curious, motivated, and ready to learn, someone who wants to do meaningful work, grow quickly, and be part of a supportive, high-performing environment.
About the Role
You’ll be part of the day-to-day work that brings our client programs to life. You’ll support a range of exciting technology clients and gain hands‑on experience across all areas of modern communications.
In this role, you’ll:
Support client accounts and help keep projects moving forward
Write and edit content (press releases, pitches, briefing notes)
Contribute to speaker and award submissions
Execute media relations outreach and foster relationships with key journalists
Research industry trends and timely media conversations to support client strategy
Monitor media coverage and build reports with actionable insights
Support internal communications and stakeholder relations
Work across integrated campaigns spanning paid, earned, and owned media
You’ll also receive ongoing training and support to help you build a strong foundation in PR and communications.

What We’re Looking For
1–3 years of experience in PR, communications, journalism, or a related field
Solid writing and editing skills
Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
Strong research and critical thinking skills
Some relevant experience in communications or PR is required
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, or related field is an asset
$54,000–$70,000 CAD salary range depending on experience
