The Dental Hygiene position at Highland Dental Centre provides preventative hygiene services and patient education in a practice serving the Pictou County area. The role involves direct patient care, oral health promotion, and delivering high quality preventive treatments within a modern, technology‑driven setting.
Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care services.
Perform clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants, and whitening.
Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventive techniques and counselling patients.
Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience aligned with patients’ expectations while maintaining ethical and professional behavior.
Qualifications
Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree.
Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in positive standing with the provincial regulatory body.
Valid CPR certification.

Schedule
Mondays to Thursdays or Tuesdays to Fridays, 4 days per week. 5 days per week available if preferred. Working hours 8:00am – 4:00pm.
