Mechanical Engineer
Akkodis Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, Ontario, Canada

Join our team as a Mechanical Engineer , working closely with the Owner’s Team and contractors to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, and successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead mechanical design, engineering, procurement, and commissioning activities.

Review technical drawings and documentation for compliance with standards and project specs.

Support supplier selection and technical evaluation for equipment packages (pumps, compressors, etc.).

Oversee installation, commissioning, and supplier quality.

Manage risks, schedule, budget, and change control processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering; P.Eng. (Ontario) required, PMP preferred.

10+ years in large-scale industrial projects.

Experience with furnaces or dry powder processes is an asset.

Familiar with Canadian codes and standards; open to international travel.

Onsite with visits to contractor and engineering offices.
