Position Overview:

Under the direction of the Director of Product Management – Shower Doors & Shower Kits and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, the Project Manager will ensure the success of product development projects. This person will be responsible for managing projects within schedule and budgetary constraints and in compliance with quality, technical and cost requirements. The Project Manager will also be responsible for evaluating and improving existing products based on feedback from both internal and external customers. This position will require strong cross‑functional collaboration with Product Management, Operations staff (Production and Procurement) and the R&D; team to ensure success.
This person will motivate and stimulate the project team by demonstrating leadership, managerial skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm. As a team led by the project manager, its members will also demonstrate technical competencies,
professionalism and the ability to synthesize information.
This position involves regular communications and giving presentations to large audiences, including company management. Frequent interactions with both internal and external resources and strong communication skills are also required.
Key Responsibilities:
Effectively manage current product development projects in a multidisciplinary environment
Effectively coordinate tasks and ensure creative solutions
Understand products and product strategies
Actively participate in the improvement process, in particular in the product development process
Participate in continuous improvement projects
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project management, product development or a related field.
Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
Problem‑Solving: Strong problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
Experience in aluminum and PVC extrusion design,
injection molded component design a definite asset
Capable of tracking milestones and ensuring alignment between project objectives and operational execution.
Experience working within a manufacturing company and/or Asian suppliers is an asset
Language: Bilingual in French and English
Travel: Availability to travel 10 to 15% of the time.
