Senior Staff Accountant – Public Accounting (Hamilton Region)

They’re adding a Senior Staff Accountant who wants meaningful work, mentorship, and long‑term stability in a genuinely supportive environment.

The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Staff Accountant who:

Leads and prepares audit, review, and compilation engagements

Manages file budgets, timelines, and professional standards

Communicates directly with clients and external stakeholders

Identifies issues early and proposes practical solutions

Mentors junior staff and contributes to internal training

Enjoys a mix of technical assurance work and client‑facing responsibilities

Must‑Haves

CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA

3+ years of public accounting experience

Strong understanding of ASPE (NPO experience an asset)





Experience with Caseware, TaxPrep (or similar), Sage/QuickBooks

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high attention to detail
