Role Description
We’re looking for a hands‑on, tech‑savvy HR Specialist to join our team at our head office in Sainte‑Sophie, Québec. This role combines day‑to‑day HR operations with the improvement of HR systems and processes. You’ll be a trusted business partner for managers and employees, helping build and scale our HR function as the company continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a trusted partner to employees and managers on all HR matters, including onboarding, performance management, perks, and policy interpretation.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
Lead or support the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of the HRIS system.
Streamline and automate HR processes to improve efficiency, data integrity, and reporting accuracy.
Contribute to HR projects that drive employee engagement, culture, and organizational effectiveness.
Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–5 years of progressive HR experience (including generalist responsibilities and HRIS management).
Experience implementing or optimizing HR systems (Workday, ADP, BambooHR, Dayforce, or similar).
Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and HR data analysis tools.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
What we offer
Salary: $70,000 – $95,000 per year (based on experience)
Bonus: Annual performance‑based bonus
Schedule: Full‑time, Monday to Friday (on‑site at Sainte‑Sophie)
