Shape literacy success as a part time Learning Enhancement Teacher in the Nicola-Similkameen School District. Collaborate with educators to implement Fountas and Pinnell literacy strategies across grades K-12.

This temporary position (0.20 FTE) begins on September 8, 2026, and ends on June 30, 2027. You will significantly impact students' reading through team-oriented instructional planning and modeling effective teaching practices. The schedule will be adaptable and determined in partnership with the Assistant Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support implementation of Fountas and Pinnell LLI Kits
• Co-teach and model classroom instruction for educators
• Adapt assessments and materials for diverse student needs
• Provide strategies for IEP goal implementation
• Contribute to student learning assessments and updates

Requirements:
• Valid BC Teaching Certificate
• Experience with K-12 student instruction
• Strong understanding of the BC Curriculum
• Teaching category five or higher
• Commitment to diverse learning needs
