JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking a Lead Estimator – Special Projects to lead estimating efforts for building projects up to $25M in Edmonton. This role is responsible for evaluating and selecting pursuit opportunities, leading the estimating team through full‑cycle estimates, and supporting business growth across multiple delivery models. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, sound commercial judgment, and a passion for construction. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE5+ years of estimating experience in construction (flexible for strong junior candidates with high growth potential)Experience estimating building construction projects, ideally within special projects up to $25M Background with a General Contractor Ability to lead and mentor estimators (currently 1 junior estimator, scaling to 3–4)



Strong capability in evaluating, vetting, and selecting pursuit opportunities Experience preparing and leading lump sum and CM estimates Working knowledge of multiple delivery models, including Design‑Build Strong organizational, communication, and decision‑making skills High drive, passion, and interest in leadership and growth opportunities NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEExperience with special projects and fast‑paced estimating environments Interest in long‑term progression toward a Chief Estimator role Previous experience with large or mid‑tier general contractorsRATE 110,000/yr -130,000/yr
