Become a Senior Snow Groomer with Mt Seymour’s Mountain Operations team. This pivotal role focuses on the operation and maintenance of snow grooming machinery on a 7-on/7-off schedule.
In this position, you will report to the Slopes and Roads Manager, ensuring that all grooming equipment is in positive working order and adhering to safety standards. The role includes maintaining a clean work environment and identifying any operational flaws, so effective communication with management is crucial. Your role helps achieve pristine snow conditions for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate snow grooming equipment effectively and safely
• Ensure grooming equipment is maintained and cleaned
• Identify maintenance issues and inform relevant departments
• Keep work areas safe and organized
• Report any snow run operational issues regularly
Requirements:
• Experience in snow grooming is required
• Familiarity with Prinoth Bison X Snowcat is beneficial
• A valid BC Driver’s License is mandatory
• Ability to work through varying weather
• Strong mechanical and safety awareness needed
