The Chair’s responsibility includes mentoring faculty and students, while promoting cooperative research initiatives with Indigenous communities in Yukon to support social work practices.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a strategic research program
Integrate Indigenous knowledge into social work education
Supervise student research projects and mentoring
Cultivate partnerships with Indigenous and academic communities
Promote trauma-informed and decolonized approachesRequirements:
A completed PhD or similar Indigenous qualification
Knowledge of federal and territorial research programs
Proven experience in project management and proposal writing
Excellent supervisory and organizational skills
