Job Summary
John Ruedy Clinic at St. Paul’s Hospital is seeking 2 permanent physicians for 1 full day per week, or 2 half days per week (maximum 2 days total). These physicians will be fully supported by an interdisciplinary team and will manage a longitudinal panel of patients.

Location & Hours
1081 Burrard St, 5th floor, Vancouver, Canada.

Proposed dates: Aug 12, 2024 – Aug 14, 2026.

Hours: Monday‑Thursday 8am‑8pm, Friday 8am‑4pm.

Qualifications

Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada

Current BC Medical License with CPSBC

Meet credentialing requirements at PHC (sign‑off from the applicant’s respective Department Head)

Experience in addiction medicine and/or HIV medicine is prioritized. Educational opportunities are available for candidates without HIV medicine expertise.

Experience working with multidisciplinary teams is an asset.

Responsibilities





Provide longitudinal primary care to individuals living with HIV who are medically and psychosocially complex.

Engage in multidisciplinary team collaboration.

Supervise and teach medical trainees, including students, residents, fellows, and enhanced‑skills trainees.
