As the Medical Coordinator for the Acute Home-Based Treatment program, you’ll work closely with the medical director and operations manager to drive client-focused initiatives. The role involves ensuring smooth transitions from hospital to community care, recruiting medical staff, and fostering a strong learning workplace for emerging professionals. Your commitment to triaging care will make a significant impact on patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership for acute home treatment team
• Foster collaboration between hospital and community health services
• Manage recruitment and performance of medical professionals
• Engage in supporting clinical learners and research
• Commit to three half-days of clinical psychiatric work weekly
Requirements:
• Current CPSBC Provisional License necessary
• Community mental health experience is essential
• Ability to provide culturally protected care for diverse populations
• At least one year of working experience with MHSU
• CMPA membership is compulsory
