Sr. Project Manager

Responsibilities

Work directly with and delegate a small team of 2 or 3 people.

Collaborate with engineers and contract owners to determine specifications of the project.

Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish while managing budget constraints.

Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are met.

Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.

Track costs.

Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and report issues.

Prepare and submit project estimates.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years combined experience as a Project Manager and/or Estimator in the construction sector.

Minimum 2 years in project management.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiar with Microsoft Project (asset).

Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and tender packages.

Experience with quantity take-offs.





Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Diploma or degree in engineering or project management is an asset but not required.

We are looking for a team player with leadership skills, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, solid familiarity with health and safety standards, and the ability to lead projects and solve problems quickly.

Compensation & Perks
Compensation will be based on experience and expertise in this field.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $66,860.00 – $145,072.00 per year
