- Ensures stability and reliability of Appian systems through RCA, AI-assisted diagnostics, and continuous improvement.
- Leads resolution of complex L2/L3 issues using AIOps, predictive monitoring, and intelligent alerting.
- Drives problem management via automation, AI-enabled root cause fixes, and self-healing mechanisms.
- Enhances performance and scalability using AI-driven optimization and predictive capacity planning.
- Governs releases and changes with CoE standards, leveraging AI-based risk assessment and validation.
- Contributes to Appian CoE platform management, including governance, reusable components, and standardization.
- Designs and integrates AI/GenAI solutions (IDP, NLP, chatbots, decisioning) to enable intelligent automation.
- Promotes AI-assisted development and hyperautomation to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Maintains AI-enabled knowledge management (runbooks, documentation) for faster issue resolution.
- Mentors team on Appian, AI adoption, and CoE best practices while ensuring security and responsible AI compliance.
- Provides leadership updates on system health, risks, and AI-driven optimization opportunities.
Must Haves:
- Eligible for Reliability Security Clearance (5 years in Canada)
- AI, Appian Work flow, IDP and RPA skills
- 5+ years as an Appian developer/engineer, including exposure to AI-enabled solutions.
- Strong experience in production support (L2/L3), incident management, root cause analysis, and platform operations, with familiarity in AIOps and intelligent monitoring tools.
- Hands on expertise in Appian (low code), including RPA and IDP, along with experience integrating AI/ML capabilities such as NLP, GenAI, and intelligent automation in production environments.
- Knowledge of Appian platform management within a CoE model, including governance, reusable components, design standards, and best practices.
- Experience with data modelling, integrations (SAP, third party, legacy systems), and exposure to AI-driven data processing or analytics.
- Proven ability to manage KTLO activities, prioritize incidents/defects/changes, and leverage automation and AI to improve operational efficiency.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with experience applying automation, predictive insights,
and AI-assisted diagnostics to deliver sustainable fixes.
- Experience mentoring teams on Appian, AI adoption, support processes, and CoE standards.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts, including AI-driven solutions, to business audiences.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on system stability, performance optimization, continuous improvement, and AI-driven innovation.
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments, with understanding of governance, security, and responsible AI practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitLab, ServiceNow, and exposure to AI-assisted development tools.
- Appian Certified Senior/Lead Developer preferred; additional certifications in AI/ML, automation, or cloud AI platforms are an asset.
