About the Role

This is a leadership position responsible for overseeing the maintenance department, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operation. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership, project management, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the maintenance team while ensuring a protected and efficient operation.
Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, automation, PLC, and VFD-related issues.
Lead equipment installations, modifications, commissioning, and continuous improvement projects.
Manage maintenance planning, inventory, contractors, budgets, and departmental KPIs.




Partner with production and engineering teams to improve reliability, throughput, and overall plant performance.
Ensure compliance with Canadian safety regulations and company standards while supporting Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

What We're Looking For
5+ years of maintenance management experience and industrial maintenance experience.
Robust background in maintenance background process automation, and Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM).
Experience leading maintenance teams within a manufacturing setting; foam or fiber processing experience is a strong asset.
Excellent troubleshooting, leadership, planning, and continuous improvement skills.
Knowledge of Canadian electrical and safety standards.
