Coast Mountain College is seeking a Full time Food Services Attendant for its Terrace campus. Deliver excellent customer service while preparing menu items and ensuring cleanliness in the café workplace.
This position reports directly to the Food Services Coordinator. As a Food Services Attendant, you will interact with customers to ensure positive experiences. Responsibilities include operating cash registers, preparing food, and maintaining cleanliness in work areas, adhering to all food safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints
• Prepare menu items using equipment like espresso machines
• Operate cash register and process customer payments
• Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, equipment, and areas
• Follow food safety and sanitation practices
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Food Safe and Serving-it-Right certificates required
• Robust communication skills
• Ability to resolve customer issues diplomatically
• Capability to lift items up to 40 lbs
