Shape health outcomes as a Primary Care Nurse with FNHA in Abbotsford, BC. Provide trauma-informed, culturally safe care to First Nations clients in your nursing role.
This position requires a cooperative nurse who has at least 3 years of experience in primary care and a commitment to cultural safety. You will work alongside a dedicated team, performing assessments and maintaining accurate health records to support diverse client needs across all life stages. Your advocacy for a racism-free space will contribute significantly to care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive primary care services to all life stages
• Assess health and document care for evidence-based outcomes
• Model cultural safety and humility in all interactions
• Work with a multidisciplinary team for holistic care delivery
• Advocate for a respectful and inclusive client workplace
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or similar required
• Active RN license with BCCNM
• Minimum 3 years in community or chronic care
• Familiarity with Indigenous health practices beneficial
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License mandatory
