Finance and Accounting Full Time Mississauga, ON $60,000 - $90,000 CAD per year

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our Accounting team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or an early‑career professional with up to three years of accounting or finance experience who is looking to build a strong foundation in corporate accounting.

As a Financial Analyst, you will support the month‑end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and analysis of financial results. You will work closely with the Accounting team to ensure accurate financial information while identifying opportunities to improve processes and strengthen internal controls.

This position offers a clear career development path to Senior Accountant as you develop technical accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and ownership of key accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Support monthly, quarterly,



and year‑end close activities.

Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.

Analyze financial results and investigate variances.

Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.

Prepare recurring financial reports and management schedules.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities as needed.

Assist with external and internal audit requests.

Maintain documentation to support accounting transactions and internal controls.

Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve accounting and financial issues.

Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

0–3 years of accounting or finance experience (internships and co‑op experience are considered an asset).

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.





Progress toward a CPA designation or interest in pursuing a CPA is preferred.

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar) is preferred.

Experience with financial reporting and account reconciliations is preferred.
