Education: Tourism Operational Management- Diploma in Tourism

The English River Inn is a cozy, independent roadside motel located right off Highway 17 (Trans-Canada Highway) in English River, in northwestern Ontario’s Kenora/Thunder Bay district border area, steps from Umber Lake.

Job duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and co-ordinate the work of light duty, specialized cleaners and janitors.




Inspect facilities to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met.
Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
May hire and train cleaning staff.
Prepare work schedule and co-ordinate activities with other workers.
Coordinate with management to Prepare cleaning budget, estimate costs and keep financial records.
Order cleaning inventory and keep record of receipts.
May perform certain cleaning duties.
