Join GFL Environmental's growing liquids team as a Battery Sorter. This full time role involves sorting batteries, data entry, and forklift operations in a supportive work setting.
Reporting directly to the Operations Supervisor, you will manage the sorting of mixed batteries on a production conveyor, transport raw materials and recyclables, and perform essential data entry tasks using Microsoft Excel and Greentrax. Maintaining clean work areas and adhering to safety protocols is essential, along with completing additional duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort mixed batteries efficiently on the conveyor
• Use a forklift to transport materials throughout the plant
• Conduct data entry in Microsoft Excel and Greentrax




• Maintain clean work areas and machinery
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:
• Completed secondary school education
• Experience in production or warehouse settings
• Forklift or overhead crane experience is beneficial
• Knowledge of OHSA and WHMIS training
• Strong physical ability for manual handling
