Join Citi's Data Solutions Production Management team and play a meaningful role in keeping business-critical applications running at their best for clients across the globe. As an Application Support Intermediate Analyst, you will deliver technical and operational support across Citi's application setting, acting as a key connector between end users, internal technology teams, and vendors to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement. This role sits within a team committed to technical excellence, where your contributions directly influence the stability, efficiency, and effectiveness of systems that matter.

Responsibilities

Deliver technical and business support to users of Citi applications, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently while coordinating with technology partners for longer-term solutions.

Serve as a liaison between end users, internal technology groups, and third-party vendors to ensure timely issue resolution and explicit communication across all parties.

Participate in application releases across the full lifecycle — from development and testing through to production deployment — and carry out post-release validation checks following application and infrastructure updates.

Analyze applications to identify risks, vulnerabilities, and security gaps, and recommend appropriate mitigating actions.

Collaborate with development colleagues to prioritize bug fixes and define tooling requirements that improve support operations.

Take active ownership of support project initiatives focused on application stability, operational efficiency, and service effectiveness.

Develop and maintain accurate technical support documentation to enable consistent,



high-quality service delivery across the team.

Participate in disaster recovery testing to validate business continuity readiness and contribute to risk mitigation planning.

Required Qualifications & Skills

2 or more years of experience in application support, IT operations, or a closely related technical discipline.

Working knowledge of application support concepts, issue tracking tools, and problem management practices.

Clear and confident communicator, able to exchange technical and operational information effectively with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.

Ability to evaluate complex situations using multiple sources of information and apply sound judgment to identify and implement appropriate solutions.

Foundational understanding of financial markets and products, with awareness of how technology strategy supports business objectives.

Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage workload independently with a limited need for direct supervision.

Flexibility to work shifts between 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with availability to support weekend rotations as required by the business.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

Experience contributing to process improvement initiatives or the standardization of support practices and procedures.





Familiarity with how application support functions integrate within a broader technology or operations organization.

Bachelor's degree or university-level qualification, or equivalent skilled experience in a relevant field.

Linux

2 - 3 years of experience

Database

Good SQL experience in any of the RDBMS.

Scheduler

Autosys / CONTROL-M or other schedulers will be of added advantage.

Programming Languages

UNIX shell scripting, Python will be of added advantage.

Cloud Native Environment
Working or having Exposure to Cloud Environments [ OpenShift / GCP / AWS ].

Other Applications

Knowledge / working experience of ITRS Active Console / other monitoring tools.
