Role Overview
The Patient Contact Centre (PCC) Pharmacist supports cognitive programs at Central Pharmacy Services. The role works individually or as part of a team to assist retail pharmacies with workflow, communication with patients, and strict adherence to standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

Complete all required program trainings.

Communicate a positive company image with patients, pharmacies and colleagues.

Support retail pharmacies with workflow, data entry and clinical verification of prescriptions.

Consult patients regarding drug therapy, provide medication information and resolve drug therapy problems via chat and phone.

Enter clinical and non‑clinical information into application databases.

Achieve quality goals related to SOP adherence.

Provide leadership and support to team members; ensure program compliance with legal and professional standards.





Provide ongoing feedback to management on program operations and potential improvements.

Maintain patient confidentiality in all interactions.

Practice within legal requirements and ethical principles, demonstrating professional integrity.

Support additional CPS programs such as central fill programs CPAK and Vial as needed.

Qualifications

Insured and licensed with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (Part A), in good standing.

Experience with HealthWATCH system.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong quality orientation, attention to detail and ability to learn compliance/audit requirements.

High ethical standards and commitment to exceptional customer service.

Qualified to counsel patients verbally and in writing in English.

Minimum of 2 years licensed practice experience preferred.

Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
