Babcock Canada is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This position involves maintaining vital aircraft systems, ensuring mission-critical aircraft remain operational.

In this engineering role, you will maintain, diagnose, and repair CL215/CL415 Aircraft alongside utilizing advanced tools and diagnostic equipment. Key activities include mentoring apprentices and maintaining a safe working workplace. Your expertise will be critical in supporting our defense initiatives while upholding regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain mechanics and structure of aircraft systems
• Test and modify specialized aviation systems
• Oversee scheduled maintenance and repairs
• Mentor junior AME apprentices and train them
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work

Requirements:
• Valid M1 and/or M2 AME license mandatory
• Experience with specific aircraft types an asset
• Strong background in aviation maintenance software
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
• Must qualify for safety and operational clearances
