Specialty Developer IV - Toronto, ON

Position Type: Contract

Contract Duration: 12 months (extension and conversion possible based on performance and business needs)

Start: July 20, 2026

Pay Rate: C$80.00–C$95.00 / Hour (CAD)

Shift / Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours

Travel Requirements: Not required

Job Summary: The Specialty Developer IV is responsible for leading technical aspects of a project from inception through to deployment. This role involves participating in analysis and system design specification sessions, documenting design options and solutions according to System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology. The position includes a 2‑week training period and offers conversion and extension possibilities with a top 10 North American bank.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical aspects of the project from inception through to deployment

Participate in analysis and system design specification sessions

Document design options and solutions according to System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology

Required Skills

Technical knowledge or experience with cloud environments (MS Azure)



and experience with Data Management and Analytics

Strong technical knowledge and experience with PySpark, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI

Experience analyzing large data sets, drawing insights and inferences, and communicating outputs

Experience with Data/Text Mining, Optimization, Algorithm Development, Automation, Data Visualization, and Simulation

Reading and comprehending data schemas, metadata, entity relationship diagrams and other technical documentation as well as writing documentation

Databricks experience

Unity Catalog experience

Synapse experience

Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team setting

Strong statistical and analytical skills as well as a passion for analytics
