Step into the role of Inspector Fuels at the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) and play a pivotal role in maintaining Ontario's public safety standards. Conduct safety inspections, address incidents, and support regulatory compliance.
As an Inspector Fuels, you will utilize your industry experience to enhance compliance within the gaseous fuels sector. Engage with certificate holders and the public, providing guidance on regulatory requirements, while ensuring accurate documentation of inspections and incidents to support TSSA’s mission of fostering a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and evaluate fuel-related facilities for compliance
• Attend safety incidents and provide actionable insights
• Guide stakeholders on applicable regulations and standards
• Maintain exact records of inspections and findings
• Promote awareness and understanding of safety practices among the public
Requirements:
• At least five years in the gaseous fuels industry
• Ongoing pursuit of Gas Technician (G2) certification
• Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license for travel
• Knowledge of fuel-related codes and safety standards
• Analytical skills for thorough inspections and compliance
Contribute to community safety and standards as a Fuels Inspector at TSSA.
