Job Summary
Join our team as a Product Owner in Mississauga, ON. This full-time role involves leading the development and enhancement of a Loss Forecast Platform, ensuring compliance and scalability. You will work with cross‑functional teams to align business needs with technical solutions, utilizing advanced data technologies.
Description
Lead the development of a current Loss Forecast Platform for risk management.
Bridge the gap between business needs and technical development teams.
Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for risk analytics capabilities.
Conduct market research and gather stakeholder feedback for product decisions.
Translate strategic objectives into detailed product requirements and user stories.
Act as liaison between key stakeholders to capture and prioritize business requirements.
Facilitate workshops to elicit detailed requirements and resolve ambiguities.
Key Responsibilities
Define and articulate the product vision and strategy.
Develop and maintain a well‑groomed product backlog.
Work closely with agile development teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Ensure platform design supports robust data governance and compliance.
Communicate product updates and manage expectations with stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's or MBA preferred.
5-7 years in product management or similar roles within financial services.
5 years of experience with regulatory stress testing frameworks.
Solid understanding of retail credit products and risk drivers.
Exceptional communication and problem‑solving skills.
