About The Role
As a Business Intelligence (BI) analyst, you will be an agent of change within the organization by being a major contributor to culture shift in relation to data. You will communicate with the senior leaders, managers, supervisors and functional experts of the various Canadian divisions to propose the implementation of strategic indicators on which they will base their decisions. You will participate in the discussion,



planning and execution of key performance indicators and interactive dashboards.

Primary Responsibilities

Work with senior leadership and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement;

Create dashboards and data strategies for internal teams and / or external stakeholders;

Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data;

Establish Key Performance Indicators to measure the effectiveness of business decisions;

Structure large data sets to find usable information;

Work with a team of analysts and other associates to process information;

Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.

Required Capabilities

Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Power BI

Proficiency in SQL and Power Query languages

Knowledge of data extraction, transformation and load (ETL) with SSIS and OLAP cubes

Ability to analyze and model business needs

Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written)

Ability to adapt in a agile environment and prioritize business requests

Agile to work simultaneously on one or more projects within a matrix organization

Familiarity with applying AI‑driven analytics tools (e.g., predictive analytics in Microsoft Fabric) an asset

Experience preparing data and data models for AI ingestion an asset

Experience interfacing with customers and working in large enterprise, implementing complex solutions.

Experience in the aerospace and defense industry an asset

Desired Education And Experiences

Requires strong knowledge of job area.

Typically viewed as having a specialty within discipline.

May have broad knowledge of project management.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.

Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Pay range: $90,000 to $140,000 (Ontario)
