Langan is seeking a Land Services Project Manager in Calgary to lead land research and compliance efforts. This role involves negotiating land agreements and facilitating energy project approvals.
In this role, you will manage critical aspects of land management, including research, negotiation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will work closely with teams to support due diligence and engage with stakeholders while benefiting from Langan’s collaborative and inclusive culture. Key Responsibilities:
• Research land use rights and ownership records
• Negotiate surface use agreements and easements
• Draft encroachment agreements for projects
• Liaise with governmental agencies for approvals
• Conduct field reconnaissance and mapping updates
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Land Administration or similar
• Minimum 6 years in land services or title research
• Understanding of property law and permitting
• Proficient in GIS, Microsoft Office, and negotiation
• Willingness to travel regionally as needed
