Elevate community health as a part time Community Health Nurse with the First Nations Health Authority. Your work in B.C. will support health promotion and urgent care in remote areas.
As part of the Resource Team, this role positions you as a key player in delivering essential health services. You will engage in various nursing functions, focusing on both primary and public health, ensuring that you meet the health needs of First Nations communities. Your contributions will help drive better health outcomes and support self-determination in health care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide essential nursing care within First Nations communities
• Promote health and prevent disease among diverse populations
• Respond to urgent and emergent care needs
• Collaborate with other health care providers
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent experience
• Current registration with BCCNM and remote certification
• Minimum one year of nursing experience required
• Basic Life Support Certification Level C
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License needed
