As a pivotal member of the Mine Water & Workplace – West team, you will leverage over 12 years of experience in water resource engineering. Your responsibilities will include leading project design phases, performing hydraulic assessments, and ensuring compliance with environmental standards. You'll also play a crucial role in mentoring your colleagues and contributing to WSP's strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage mine water projects from initial planning to completion
• Lead the development of water management strategies
• Conduct detailed hydrologic and hydraulic evaluations
• Design and supervise surface water conveyance systems
• Offer technical leadership and mentoring to junior staff
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field
• Registered Professional Engineer in Canada
• Extensive experience in mining water projects
• Proficient in modeling tools like HEC-RAS or MIKE
• Proven track record of client engagement and regulatory advisory
