As a Clinical Therapist within Kinark's Community Based Child and Youth Mental Health program, you will conduct detailed assessments and formulate treatment strategies. You'll work in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to meet the complex needs of high-risk populations, ensuring evidence-based practices are at the forefront of your interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform initial assessments considering mental health complexities
• Develop and modify treatment plans for diverse client backgrounds
• Utilize evidence-based practices to achieve clinical outcomes
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team
• Document treatment goals and client progress diligently
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related discipline preferred
• Registered with OCSWSSW or CRPO and eligible for Psychotherapy
• Minimum of 3 years relevant mental health experience
• Training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy preferred
• Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a vehicle required
