About the Role
ADP is hiring a Payroll Specialist to support a high-performing team in the Human Resources Outsourcing department. You will answer payroll and tax‑related questions from Client Payroll Administrators and help clients grow their businesses.
Responsibilities
Manage client payroll, fully accountable for the payroll and audit functions of multiple clients. Oversee scheduling, running, and balancing payrolls according to the year‑end calendar and remit third‑party remittances by defined due dates.
Serve as the subject‑matter expert on statutory payroll information such as tax filing. Use knowledge bases, resource materials, and appropriate websites to locate answers and provide solutions.
Problem‑solve in collaboration with internal technical support and production departments. Provide feedback on products, processes, and procedures to enhance efficiency and continuous improvement.
Maintain National Payroll Institute (NPI) designation and attend required departmental training, demonstrating proficiency in learning.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years Canadian payroll processing experience.
Minimum 5 years client service experience.
Advanced internet and MS Office skills (Word/Excel).
Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to translate findings into actionable solutions.
Excellent client service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Post‑secondary education preferred or equivalent experience in administration, client service, or HR.
Working toward or holding National Payroll Institute (NPI) certification (PCP, CPM).

Compensation
Base salary offers may vary based on location, skills, and experience. The base salary range for this role is CAD $59,300.00 – CAD $94,800.00 per year, with potential additional compensation such as bonus and commissions.
