As a critical member of the health care team, you will provide comprehensive primary care services tailored for Katzie, Tsawwassen, Kwikwetlem, and Semiahmoo First Nations. Your role involves direct patient care, health monitoring, and advocating for cultural safety in all practices. You will need to navigate various community sites throughout the week to ensure effective health service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver primary care to clients across all ages
• Document and assess client health status regularly
• Make health decisions based on evidence and best practices
• Ensure service provision is culturally safe and respectful
• Apply trauma-informed care principles effectively
Requirements:
• Completed Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent
• Active nursing registration with BCCNM
• Minimum of three years in primary care experience
• Familiarity with First Nations cultural protocols
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
