Advance your teaching career as a Korean and Indigenous Languages Instructor with the York Region District School Board. This part time role emphasizes language acquisition and fosters inclusive education.

As part of the YRDSB for the 2026/2027 school year, you will engage in teaching Korean for 3.7 hours each week. The focus will be on modern teaching practices that support equity and reflect current educational standards. You'll interact with students, parents, and staff to promote a collaborative learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement effective language teaching strategies
• Ensure student safety and engagement
• Maintain an inclusive class atmosphere
• Regularly update parents on student progress
• Provide student supervision as required

Requirements:
• Korean fluency is an asset
• Experience in language education beneficial
• Certification by the Ontario College of Teachers needed
• Preferred qualifications include Intermediate or Senior levels
