Job Summary
The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech serves as a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. The role functions independently during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision.

Licensure & Certification

AART or RRT and Active NBRC credential for RRT is required

BLS and ACLS is required

Education

Technical or Associates in Radiology + ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology

Associates in Respiratory + RRT (Respiratory Therapy), Active NBRC Credential for RRT + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology





Graduate of CVT Program with no experience

3 years of Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education

RCIS and/or RCES and 1 year of experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education

Experience

1 year related field experience

3 years related experience in lieu of technical training/program
