Become a Community Housing Worker with UGM and empower women and families on their journey to independence. This role emphasizes strength-based support in the Sanctuary Transitional Housing setting.

As a part of the Housing Support team, you will utilize your skills to assist tenants in their daily routines while providing essential emotional and logistical support. You will help create a safe workplace where program participants can thrive. Through your efforts, you will positively impact their lives and encourage personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build supportive relationships with program tenants
• Provide assistance with daily living activities
• Support tenants in accessing community services
• Engage in childcare when needed
• Help coordinate program activities and manage crises

Requirements:
• Diploma in human services, preferred
• 2 years of related experience required
• Valid driver’s license a must
• Familiarity with trauma-informed practices
• Experience with diverse communities an advantage
