Job Summary
The School of Trades within the Faculty of Applied & Technical Studies invites applications for a full‑time Assistant Professor position in the Automotive Department. The successful candidate will teach courses in Automotive Foundation and all levels of Automotive Apprenticeship, develop new courses, and contribute to the department and university community.

Responsibilities

Teach Automotive Foundation and all levels of Automotive Apprenticeship courses.

Develop and deliver new and innovative courses.

Participate in departmental activities, services, events, and initiatives.

Incorporate Indigenous perspectives into curriculum where appropriate.

Maintain ongoing career development.

Qualifications





Provincial Instructor’s Diploma (preferred).

Red Seal Automotive Service Technician.

Minimum five years of experience in the automotive industry.

Teaching experience in a university or college setting (preferred).
