The primary responsibilities of the role will include:
Responsible for working in accordance with OH&S; regulations, JNE protected work procedures, ISO procedures, and JNE Values/Code of Conduct.
Interpret drawings and weld symbols to confirm requirements of each weld. Verify the consumable, shielding gas, and welding parameters of the welding equipment in relation to the welding procedure data sheet of each weld.
Welding and the weld cleanup of previously inspected and fitted parts.
Material handling of parts and finished fabrications.
Responsible use of consumables and raw materials.
Fit fabrications for welding.
Knowledge of weld faults and causes.
Ability to perform visual inspection of welds.
Provide training and support to less experienced employees as required.
Complete all traceability and documentation requirements.
Qualifications Education Required High School Diploma or better.
Technical/other training or better.
Experience Required Ability to interpret drawings, weld symbols, and schematics.
Minimum 3-years related experience
Preferred TIG Experience
ASME IX 1G Roll
