Be a vital part of The Link as the Community Stories and Funds Coordinator. This full time role emphasizes storytelling, donor engagement, and community partnerships.
The Link, with a rich history serving youth and families for over 90 years, is looking for a Coordinator to champion the voice of the community. Grounded in the traditional Seven Teachings, this position will guide strategic fund development and storytelling initiatives. Your creativity and cultural sensitivity will empower our communications and strengthen community resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect and share community stories with respect and consent
• Coordinate fund development strategies for sustained support
• Forge partnerships through open, reciprocal communication
• Develop impactful newsletters and donor appeals
• Engage in community forums and represent The Link’s mission
Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3–5 years in fundraising or similar fields
• Demonstrated expertise in storytelling and communications
• Familiarity with Indigenous community dynamics is advantageous
• Necessary background checks for vulnerable sector engagement
