Who We’re Looking For
As a member of the Wireless Finance team, you will be supporting the Wireless Consumer Business Unit to help ensure payment accuracy and deliver efficiency and best value for channel commissions.
What You’ll Do
Lead and develop a team of Sr Financial Analysts
Manage and ensure timely delivery of period close procedures including review of journal entries, analytical review of financial results, and distribution of Management and Finance reporting packages.
Review variance commentary on financial results and key business indicators in partnership with Wireless Consumer Business Unit.
Build relationships with Wireless Consumer Business Unit leaders and other departments to ensure appropriate information flow and understanding of overall reporting process.
Review the accuracy of financial models to support performance management with trend and program impact assumptions and provide coaching for improvement
Accountable for the tracking of financial, program, and KBI results against multiple comparison points including Forecast, Budget, and Prior Year.
Oversee the execution of business case financial modeling in support of the Wireless channel compensation related decisions
Oversee the ongoing maintenance and refinement of business case models; ensuring updated data inputs to reflect the latest business and market dynamics
Facilitate post‑implementation reviews of new commissions, rate cards, spiffs with project owners and proactively challenge status quo

What You Bring
Minimum 5-8 years of experience
University Degree in business (B.Comm/MBA) or CPA accounting designation
Strong communication and presentation skills
Excellent judgment and ability to see the big picture
Strong understanding of Telecom and Cable networks
Ability to build strong relationships with business groups and other finance organizations
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to present findings, summaries, priorities and recommendations in comprehensive form
Demonstrated strong organizational and planning skills
Extensive Microsoft Excel experience and high comfort‑level with numbers
Accustomed to an extremely fast‑paced environment, able to prioritize competing tasks
Strong project management skills – ability to take complete “closed‑loop” ownership of a project
