Career Opportunities: Journeyperson Electrician, Field Services Reports to: Manager, Technical Services
Shift: 7 x 7, 12 hours per shift
Safety Sensitive: Yes - drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check, and submission of a 5-year provincial driving record will be required
Travel: up to 25% within Canada and the USA
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation

Job Overview Are you a hands-on electrician who thrives on troubleshooting complex systems, solving problems in the field, and working with industry-leading equipment? We are seeking a Journeyperson Electrician who values safety, delivers quality workmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Job Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, electrical drawings, and code specifications to install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems

Troubleshoot, test, and repair electrical and electronic equipment using diagnostic tools to identify faults and ensure safe operation

Install, maintain, and service motors, generators, alternators, industrial batteries, and hydraulic/pneumatic control systems

Perform preventive maintenance inspections and maintain accurate maintenance and service records

Ensure all work meets company quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety procedures

Participate in the on-call rotation and provide technical support as required

Qualifications/Requirements





Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certification (Red Seal is an asset)

Working knowledge of PLC controls, wiring, electrical theory, and industrial power systems

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to perform in a fast-paced workplace

Ability to travel and work away from home for extended periods, access mine sites without restriction, and meet all site-specific requirements

Physically capable of safely lifting up to 50 lbs and performing the demands of industrial field work

Competitive wages: base pay is $61.70/hour. Discussion regarding full compensation package conducted upon initial pre-screen
