Our client, a leading distributor of electric products, is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team on a 12-month contract . This role follows a hybrid working arrangement requiring 3 days onsite and two days working remotely each week at their Mississauga offices.

Responsibilities

Partner with business leaders to provide financial analysis and strategic decision support.

Prepare and analyze monthly financial results, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses.

Develop actionable insights and recommendations to improve financial and operational performance.

Support planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.

Build financial models and perform ad hoc analysis to support key business initiatives.

Present financial results and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders in a explicit and concise manner





Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and enhance financial controls.

Qualifications

CPA designation or enrollment in a CPA program is preferred.

Previous experience as a Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst in a business partnering capacity.

Experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) or distribution is considered an asset but is not required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across the business

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools is an asset.
