Hays is partnered with a well-established, integrated real estate developer, who are looking to expand its in-house design team in Edmonton by adding a Senior Architectural Technologist. This organization is involved across the full development lifecycle, from land acquisition through to homebuilding and rental living, creating vibrant neighbourhoods in Calgary and Edmonton. This role would support the development and delivery of low-to mid-rise residential projects. *in office FTResponsibilities:Support the creation, design, and execution of residential projects by interpreting architectural guidelines for both current and existing subdivisionsDevelop Revit working drawings based on initial design concepts, including the preparation of specifications, material quantity take‑offs, and cost estimatesProduce architectural and presentation models,



as well as three‑dimensional visualizations to effectively communicate design intentDesign high‑visibility elevations and implement modifications in accordance with Architectural GuidelinesCoordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycleAssist in issuing and reviewing drawing packages to ensure accuracy, design integrity, and code complianceOrganize and present new design ideas as requiredPerform quantity take‑offs and cost estimates as neededQualifications:Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in wood‑framing production drafting/design in the residential industryStrong understanding of local building codes and current land use bylawsSolid knowledge of residential construction processes, building materials, and permit processesArchitectural Technology Diploma or equivalentStrong proficiency in Revit is requiredIn exchange for your hard work and commitment you will earn $80-90K (dependent on experience) & benefits including health + dental.
