$25/hour - General Labourer - Temporary 8 week project - Day Shift

This team is currently full. We are accepting applications for our standby list and future Fort McMurray prospects.

We are actively recruiting 5 temporary labourer(s) for a recent store setup in Fort McMurray. This job is very physically demanding. You would be assisting in moving store fixtures and product, disposing of construction material, cleaning store sections, adjusting shelf heights and other general labour tasks as required.
Rate: $25/hour + vacation pay
Location: AB - Fort McMurray
Project Dates: August 3rd- September 24th 2026
Availability: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm or 8am-4:30pm (Times TBC)
Hours per week: Up to 40 hours per week

Job Responsibilities:
Moving and adjusting shelving/tables/racking in a big-box store
Stocking or packaging product for shipment




Disposing of construction material
Cleaning store sections
Other general labour tasks as required
Physical requirements: Lifting up to 50lbs, on feet for entire shift.

Successful Candidate Qualifications:
Retail experience is considered an asset
Physically able to lift up to 50lbs, remain on feet for entire shift and work in a physically demanding position.
Positive attitude, reliable, valuable communicator and fluent in English
PPE required: CSA Approved Safety footwear, Work Gloves, Hard Hat, Safety Vest and Protective Eyeware
Completion of WHMIS certificate (Can be completed prior to starting)
