The Department of Physics and Astronomy is seeking a dedicated individual for a part time instructor role where you will influence students' academic journeys. Courses include introductory physics and astronomy, with a workload plan of 2.0 sections in Fall and 4.0 sections in Winter.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct students in various physics courses
• Guide and assess learning outcomes effectively
• Organize and schedule learning resources
• Maintain high standards of instructional quality
• Create engaging curriculum for general physics and astronomy
Requirements:
• M.Sc. in Physics or equivalent; Ph.D. is an asset
• Teaching experience at the post-secondary level required
• Ability to teach astronomy in the evenings
• Sensitivity to diverse student backgrounds
• Robust communication skills in English
